FAQ
(Frequently Asked Questions)
Why are
your prices lower than my local retailer?
All e-retailers have low
overheads and should be able to pass on the savings to their clients. We
work on tight margins in the belief that the volume of orders we get
justifies the price.
Some retailers insist that
you'll be getting "free makeup" - there is no such thing as a "free lunch"
Trade Secret -
One of ways some retailers operate is to undercut all local fabric prices
- so the initial price looks very attractive. However, it is easy to
"over estimate" the quantity of fabric required for a job. Once your
curtains have been sewn up - could you tell if 15 metres have been used
rather than the 20 metres that you've been charged for? If you wish we are
quiet happy to return to you all left over fabric.
Currently we have satisfied
over 6000 customers - many of whom buy from us time and time again -
including trade clients and independent curtain makers
I've
never ordered anything over the Internet before - how safe is it?
Be sure that the Internet is
NOT safe!
On acceptance of our e-quote,
you telephone or fax your credit card details to us.
Feel free to visit our
guestbook where you will see genuine, unsolicited customer comments from
satisfied clients as far afield as Australia, Switzerland and USA.
How long
will my order take ?
Subject to fabric availability
we can turn round most orders inside 3-4 weeks. If we can't - we tell you
right from the outset.
Why isn't your carriage
free?
We only use Royal Mail
Parcelforce [UK] and FEDEX for overseas shipments.
All shipments are fully
insured against loss-in-transit and damage.
Some of our competitors DON'T
insure.
We deliver NEXT DAY - not next
week.
How do I
know that you're not just supplying seconds or imperfects?
We quality-check prior to
either sewing up or shipping to you.
It is simply not worth
jeopardizing our good reputation in an attempt to make a quick buck.
